What desert plants will dogs not eat?

I have a dog that can’t resist the urge to shred to pieces every landscaping plant I put in my back yard. I live in Arizona so I need types of plants that can take the extreme heat and dry. That and maybe one that isn’t so tasty or harmful to our beloved miniature plant destroyer. Thank you to anyone with advice.

dogs are carnivorous animals. it does not eats any plant. but sometimes it eats grass to get some fibres that helps for digestion and absoption.
