NWG-DVD-109 – An extensive, scant desert landscape surrounds the Petrified Forest National Park east of Arizona. In the middle of the desert-like Badlands is one of the U.S.A.’s most
remarkable geological treasures, the Petrified Forest. Two million years ago this region was a swampland inhabited by various species of dinosaur. The Forest covers an area of approximately three hundred and seventy-eight square kilometres and the outstanding petrifactions can be found throughout.

Numerous fossilised sections of trees lie scattered across the desert and date back to prehistoric times when the surrounding highlands were covered with dense forest.

Powerful torrential rivers carried the broken, dead tree trunks into a vast swampland where
they sank deep into the morass and became hermetically sealed while additional layers of sediment built up on the trunks. Thus normal decomposition was halted and the wood retained various minerals.

Hello. This summer this summer I am planning on going somewhere in the southwest. I’ve been to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, and Utah. Also Texas if you want to consider that southwest. The reason I like the southwest is because of the desert landscape and the beauty. The hot weather is always a plus too. I was thinking about going to Vegas for the summer, but I wasnt sure if there was anything else I should see like New Mexico or Arizona. What place in the southwest would you reccomend over Vegas? It has to be at least less then $200 to fly into from either Kansas City or Omaha. I’m also interested in National Parks aswell! Thanks! I’m looking foward to hearing what you have to say!

It’s hard for me to recommend anything over getting drunk and playing poker… but if you’re into national parks, either the Grand Canyon or Carlsbad Caverns are no-brainers. You have to see them.

If you want something a little more off the beaten path, try Sedona Arizona. It’s hard to top the scenery there.

I don’t recommend Phoenix. Boooring. It’s sprawly tracts of retirement homes and golf courses, downtown lacks character.

Tuscon is supposed to be a lot of fun, but I haven’t been and can’t vouch for it.

I present to you the Wand Duel in HD. The original on the Desmus55 channel was deleted by the spiteful Warner Music Group so I had to scour through my music library for albums that didn’t belong to the dreadful WMG. Thank God for Varese Sarabande!

This is the second project with Kris Thompson and Sean Tyler. This is also the first project I worked on with Ben McEwan, my visual effects guy nowadays!
